Did you know that pitbull-type dogs are the most abused breed of dog in the world (PETA, 2021), and nearly 1 million of them are euthanized each year? This accounts for 40% of all dogs euthanized in shelters yearly and adds up to nearly 2,800 dogs being euthanized daily due to misinformation (HSUS, 2022).
This is your opportunity to be part of the change needed for these dogs and help potential adopters see what amazing companions these dogs can be. Through this program, we will help these pitbull-type dogs and other long stays at the animal shelter learn behaviors that will help them get adopted and stay adopted.
What is the Adopt-a-bull program?
Focus on dogs that have a harder
time getting adopted
Bring awareness on biases with bully breeds/dogs that are long stays, and help the over-excited loving dogs learn easier-to-do and more effective ways of sharing affection with human!

Funds assessment and training needs to get adopted
Dogs will learn desirable behaviors in training, so both the dog and family can start building mutually enjoyable relationships right away!
Registered microchip
